Lee scored 29 points as the 12th-seeded Hilltoppers reached the Sweet 16 for the first time in 15 years with a victory over the 13th-seeded San Diego Toreros. Lee was 8-for-11 from the field, scoring 19 points in the first half. It was his 3-pointer that gave Western Kentucky the lead for good, and his six consecutive free throws in the final minute helped set up the Hilltoppers’ showdown with top-seeded UCLA.
