WEEKEND PREVIEW WHAT TO WATCH FOR IN SPORTS

BRAVES at NATIONALS

Finally, the Nationals get a home of their own. Games start tomorrow with an exhibition against the Baltimore Orioles followed by the official opener against the Braves on Sunday night.

SWEET 16 AND ELITE EIGHT GAMES

By the end of the weekend, there will be four teams left to play for the national championship. And though the tournament started with six local teams, none of those four will be from the D.C. or Baltimore area.

WIZARDS at LAKERS

The last thing Washington needs when it’s fighting for a playoff spot is a trip out west to face Kobe Bryant and Los Angeles. But a win would prove they can handle a tough environment and would bode well for the playoffs.

VANDERBILT vs. MARYLAND WOMEN

The top-seeded Terps struggled a bit in their first two games of the NCAA tournament, while Vanderbilt cruised to the Sweet 16. Expect a battle tomorrow night.
