Caruso Homes Inc. is building 56 single-family homes on quarter-acre to third-acre homesites at Tantallon Estates in Fort Washington, located near National Harbor, with views of the Washington Monument and Old Town Alexandria.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include a brick front, 6-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car garage.

Inside, all four models feature four bedrooms; 2½ or 3½ baths; hardwood flooring in the two-story foyer, hall, powder room, kitchen and breakfast area; 9-foot ceilings on the main and lower levels; crown and chair-rail moldings; a gas fireplace; 42-inch maple or oak cabinets, a butler’s pantry, a walk-in pantry and recessed lighting in the center-island kitchen; high-tech wiring; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; and dual-zone heating and air conditioning.



The homes have about 3,000 to 3,600 finished square feet, with base prices from $514,990 to $564,990. Homeowner association fees are $550 per year.

The Port Tobacco model, with 3,300 square feet, is priced from $544,990. This home features a two-story foyer flanked by the living room and dining room, a two-story family room with a wall of windows and columns separating this room from the open breakfast area and kitchen. The main level also has a den, a mudroom, a laundry room, a powder room and a hidden rear staircase.

Upstairs, the master suite has two walk-in closets and a bath. Three more bedrooms share a full bath.

An alternate floor plan includes a master sitting room, a third full bath and three walk-in closets in the master suite.
