Retiring Rep. Richard Renzi, Arizona Republican, was indicted Thursday on racketeering, money laundering and other charges.

The new, more serious charges come after Mr. Renzi was indicted in February on corruption charges including wire fraud, extortion and insurance fraud.

A three-term congressman who did not seek re-election this year, Mr. Renzi had pleaded not guilty.
