How did you get started in real estate? My interest in real estate started early in my college years. I used to love looking at all the different types of homes in the Potomac area. Little did I know that real estate would turn out to be my career.

How long have you been with the current company? 6 years

Licenses and designations: licensed Realtor, Maryland, Virginia and District

Associations: National Association of Realtors, Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors

Awards: 2003 Weichert Executive’s Sales Club, 2004 Weichert Chairman’s Sales Club, 2005 Weichert President’s Sales Club

Greatest accomplishment in the past 12 months: With an ever-changing real estate market, sometimes things can get stressful, but I feel really lucky that I’ve been able to help all my clients despite the challenges we face as real estate professionals.

Area of specialty: condos in Rockville and working with Koreans (because I speak Korean fluently)

Highest-priced home sold: $1,400,000

Most memorable house: I helped a family move into their first home in the United States after renting for over 10 years. Seeing their faces full of pride from owning their own house was such a special experience.

Worst experience buying or selling a house: I was selling a friend’s home and the financing fell through. The wait for another contract was very stressful, but it all worked out in the end.

Family: husband, Mike, and three children, Austin (13), Jessica (10) and Sabrina (9)

Pets: Jack, a black Shih-poo

Education: Bachelor of Science in textiles and fashion merchandising from the University of Maryland

Community affiliations/community service/outside interests: I am involved in activities at my kids’ schools at Stone Mill Elementary and Cabin John Middle School. I love going to the gym, traveling, movies and karaoke.

Last book read: “Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman’s Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia” by Elizabeth Gilbert

Last movie seen: “Ironman”

What kind of car do you drive? white BMW 328 convertible

Describe your personal dream house: I’d like to find a beautiful lot in Bethesda and build my own four- or five-bedroom, custom rambler-style house with an open floor plan, a nice-size kitchen and family room for all the gatherings with friends and family. My children’s dream is to have a swimming pool in the backyard.
