NAVY 75, ST. FRANCIS (N.Y.) 63: Kaleo Kina scored 19 points to lead four Navy players in double figures as the Midshipmen downed the Terriers on Tuesday night in Annapolis.

Mark Veazey added 10 points and a career-high 11 rebounds for the first double-double of his career. Chris Harris, who scored 12 points in the first half, finished with 17 for Navy (2-1); Alan Teague added 12.

Navy shot 49.1 percent from the field, converting 40 percent (8-for-20) from behind the arc.

Stefan Petrunicic led St. Francis with 21 points and made five 3-pointers despite missing seven minutes of the second half with a sprained ankle. Kayode Ayeni added 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Terriers (0-2).

Navy jumped out to a 14-2 lead, but St. Francis rallied to close to 30-29 at halftime.

SYRACUSE 76, RICHMOND 71: Jonny Flynn and Eric Devendorf combined for 49 points, Arinze Onuaku had 17 and the host Orange (2-0) beat the Spiders (1-1) in the CBE Classic.

J. MADISON 62, MISS. VALLEY ST. 54: Devon Moore scored 17 points, including the go-ahead basket after James Madison squandered a 12-point, second-half lead and the Dukes (1-1) beat the Delta Devils (0-4) in an NIT Season Tip-Off consolation game in Norman, Okla.

UNC ASHEVILLE 84, LIBERTY 56: J.P. Primm scored 21 points and Sean Smith added 17 to lead the Bulldogs (3-0) to a home win against the Flames (1-1) in the teams’ Big South opener in Asheville, N.C.
