BIRMINGHAM, ALA. (AP) - DeWanna Bonner scored a game-high 29 points to lead No. 15 Auburn to a 91-62 rout of Alabama-Birmingham on Wednesday night.

Bonner was 9-for-14 shooting and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds for the Lady Tigers (5-0), who shot a blistering 75.9 percent (22 of 29) from the field in the second half to seal the victory. Morgan Jennings scored 14 points and Reneisha Hobbs added 10 on 5-for-5 shooting.

Amanda Peterson led the Blazers (1-3) with 20 points, going 6-for-9 from behind the arc, and Britney Jones added 15.

The Blazers went into halftime tied at 32 with the Lady Tigers, but shot just 25 percent (9 of 36) in the second half.

The Lady Tigers outrebounded the Blazers 46-26, although they lost the turnover battle 21-16. Auburn notched eight blocks as a team in the win, and hit 21 free throws compared to 13 by UAB.
