From combined dispatches

Cleveland Brownswide receiver Braylon Edwards was limited in practice Friday and listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at Baltimore.

Edwards, who has had a rough start to the season with five drops for the 0-2 Browns, is dealing with an injured shoulder.

It’s likely the Browns will be without guard Eric Steinbach, who strained his shoulder in Sunday’s loss to Pittsburgh, and linebacker Willie McGinest (hamstring). Both missed their third straight day of practice.

VIKINGS: Star running back Adrian Peterson returned to practice, but he was limited in his work and remained questionable for Sunday’s game because of a hamstring injury.

Coach Brad Childress said he would wait until shortly before the game against Carolina to decide whether Peterson, who leads the NFL with 263 yards rushing, will play.

SAINTS: Joey Harrington signed with New Orleans and participated in his first practice.

He will back up starter Drew Brees and second-string quarterback Mark Brunell.

TITANS: Wide receiver Justin Gage missed his third consecutive practice with a groin injury Friday and will be a game-time decision for Sunday’s game with the Houston Texans.

Gage was hurt in Sunday’s 24-7 victory at Cincinnati and has not practiced this week. He did some pre-practice running Thursday and Friday.
