OBAMA‘S WEEK

Tuesday: Mr. Obama lays out an economic plan to restore confidence in the markets in the wake of the Wall Street crisis; later that night he raises more than $9 million at a fundraiser with Hollywood celebrities and Barbra Streisand.

Wednesday: Mr. Obama blasts Mr. McCain for repeating that fundamentals of the economy are strong, tells voters the McCain claim of ending the good ‘ol boy network is ludicrous because the good ‘ol boy network is like a McCain campaign “staff meeting.”

Thursday: Vice-presidential nominee Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. suggests that raising the taxes of people earning more than $250,000 per year gives them a chance to be patriotic. Mr. Obama meets with American Indian tribal leaders while in New Mexico before a rally with Gov. Bill Richardson.

Friday: Mr. Obama tells Florida voters Mr. McCain seems to be in a “panic” over the economic crisis, says his rival is wrongly blaming him for the mess and blasts him for pushing deregulation over the course of his career.

Saturday: Mr. Obama holds a big rally in Jacksonville, Fla., where three new polls show him tied with Mr. McCain.

Sunday: Mr. Obama rallies in Charlotte, N.C.; his campaign pushes a news report that Mr. McCain owns 13 cars in addition to his seven homes

Monday: Mr. Obama blasts corporate greed and says he fears the new Wall Street bailout is a blank check.
