Beazer Homes Corp. is building 68 single-family homes at Brighton Place in Capitol Heights, within walking distance of the local Metro station. The community is a 15-minute drive from Washington and is close to the Federal Center Plaza, Oakcrest Community Center and Walker Mill Memorial Park.

Each home in this Prince George’s County community will include professional landscaping, a porch and a two-car garage. Brick fronts are optional.

Each of the four models has four bedrooms; 2 1/2 baths; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; hardwood floors in the foyer and powder room; crown and chair-rail moldings; 42-inch oak cabinets and a pantry in the kitchen; ceramic tile floors in the full baths; a luxury master bath with a double-sink vanity, a soaking tub and separate shower; rough-in plumbing for a lower-level bath; and gas heat and hot water.

The homes will range from 2,100 to 3,000 square feet. Base prices are in the low $300,000s. Homeowner association fees have not been set.

The sample model, to be available soon, has a covered front porch that opens into the two-story foyer. Adjacent to the foyer are a study and a formal living room, which opens into the formal dining room. Across the back of the house are the kitchen, breakfast area and family room. The main level also has a powder room and a laundry room.

Upstairs, the master suite has a volume ceilings, a walk-in closet and a luxury bath.

Three more bedrooms and a second full bath complete this level.
