Spectators at the 20th annual Out of the Past Revue last Sunday saw 170 antique vehicles displayed that have been featured in The Washington Times AutoWeekend section, published every Friday.

The vast majority of the vehicles were American made but there also were representatives from Saab 9-X concept car..

Beneath the large tent located in the center of the show field is the vehicle selected as the People’s Choice at the car show the previous year. The car under the tent at next year’s event will be the People’s Choice this year, a green 1953 Packard Alexandria. It appeared in the July 2, 1999 newspaper.

The first runner-up award determined by the voting public went to a red 1960 Arlington was selected as second runnerup. His car appeared in print on Mar. 3, 2006.

Balloting among the owners of the exhibited antique automobiles resulted in the Owner’s Choice award being presented to Fairfax. His winning car is a green 1933 Packard Eight sedan which was featured on April 25, 2008.

Production dates of the cars at the show ranged from 1909 to 1983. Photographs from the car show are on D5.
