ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s experience leading a state championship basketball team in high school taught her that, while defense is important, there’s no winning the game without a strong offense. Her acceptance speech Wednesday night at the Republican National Convention as the nominee for vice president was a wonderful example of a perfectly executed offense against her opponents. I’m still smiling today and look forward to more slam-dunks.
