Basking in some of the best reviews of the season, the Broadway revival of “Hair” should take in close to $500,000 _ or more _ at the box office a day after it opened.

Producer Jeffrey Richards says the production returned 10 percent of its $5.76 million investment to backers Wednesday, with tickets on sale through Thanksgiving week.

The musical opened Tuesday at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
