LONDON (AP) - President Barack Obama is starting talks with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Launching his first full day of meetings in Europe, Obama arrived Wednesday morning at 10 Downing Street. He and first lady Michelle Obama were greeted by Brown and his wife, Sarah.

The four of them waved and smiled for photographers before heading inside.

The president and prime minister are scheduled to take questions from reporters later in the morning.

Obama is on an five-country European tour. The centerpiece of the president’s London stay is a summit of the world’s top 20 economies on the global economic meltdown.
