CINCINNATI (AP) - Coach J. Kelley Hall has been fired after two losing seasons at Cincinnati.

The Bearcats went 14-17 last season, losing their last 12 games in the regular season. Cincinnati went 7-26 in the Big East during Hall’s two seasons.

Athletics director Mike Thomas said Friday that a change was needed because the program didn’t improve in Hall’s two seasons. Hall was the head coach at Louisiana-Lafayette for five seasons before coming to Cincinnati. He also was the associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Louisville.
