DETROIT (AP) - Michigan State’s Delvon Roe hit a tie-breaking, 2-point jumper in the closing seconds of the first half to give the Spartans a 38-36 lead over the Connecticut Huskies in their Final Four semifinal basketball game Saturday night.

Forward Ramar Morgan was leading the second-seeded Spartans in scoring with 11 points at halftime. Connecticut forward Jeff Adrien was leading the top-seeded Huskies in scoring with 10 points in the first half.
