BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraqi police and medical officials say a car bomb in downtown Baghdad has killed at least five people and wounded 15 others.

The officials say the bomb exploded Monday in central Baghdad, killing mostly day laborers looking for work.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release the information.
