ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Let me see if I’ve got this right. The federal government can’t run the U.S. Postal Service, can’t run Amtrak, can’t control the federal budget or the public debt, can’t tell us where all of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP) money went, can’t run Social Security, can’t run Medicare, can’t run Medicaid, can’t run the war on poverty, can’t provide proper oversight for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and can’t secure our borders. Yet our “leaders” in Washington think that this same federal government can somehow run a nationalized health care system and that one-sixth of our economy should be turned over to demonstrated incompetents?

Albert Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. Isn’t it time to end all of this insanity? I certainly think so.
