Junior walk-on David Pearman missed the game with a sprained right knee. He will be re-evaluated before Sunday’s game against Florida Atlantic. Pearman, who did not practice Monday, is averaging 1.0 points and 0.3 rebounds in four games this season.

BY THE NUMBERS

9 Three-pointers made in the first half by Maryland, matching a full-game season high. The Terrapins were 9-for-14 from beyond the arc, and the hot outside shooting permitted Maryland to maintain a 41-29 lead at the break. The Terps finished with 12 3-pointers.

PLAY OF THE GAME

Maryland clung to a 33-29 lead with 3:08 left in the first half, but senior guard Greivis Vasquez snatched a steal and coasted in for a dunk. That ignited a half-ending 8-0 run for the Terps, a stretch that also featured a Vasquez 3-pointer.
