Rockville accounting firm Goodman & Co. named the following employees senior associates:

Adam Beverley has a combined three years of experience in both private and public accounting. He is a graduate from George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.

Kristen Blevins graduated from the University of Virginia at Wise and joined Goodman full time in 2007.

Shane Campbell worked as a customer relationship management consultant for seven years and holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and electrical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.

Lauren Filogamo graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance.

Jeff Rusincovitch joined Goodman as an associate in 2006. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and information systems from Virginia Tech.


Howard Mortman was named communications director for C-SPAN in the District, where he will be managing media relations and communications for the congressional television service. Before joining C-SPAN, Mr. Mortman served as public affairs practice director with New Media Strategies in Arlington.


• Goodstone Inn & Estate in Middleburg, Va., named Sheree McDowell pastry chef for the historic country retreat. Ms. McDowell previously held pastry chef positions at the Woodlands Resort & Inn in Summerville, S.C., and at the Port Bakery in Kennebunkport, Maine.


Marshall Billingslea, former deputy undersecretary of the Navy, was named a director with Deloitte Consulting LLP’s D.C. office, where he will advise federal clients on national security issues.

• Dominion Dental Services USA Inc. of Alexandria added three sales managers. Charles “Chip” Young, Lisa Lubic and James Kushel will be responsible for sales, business development and broker relations. Mr. Young has more than 37 years of local dental insurance sales and business development experience. Ms. Lubic has more than 15 years of sales experience with large health insurance carriers and general agencies. Mr. Kushel, with more than 25 years of industry experience, was recently appointed chairman of the Association of Health Insurance Advisors for the state of Maryland.


• Scheer Partners Inc., a Rockville provider of commercial real estate services, hired Ben Heller as a commercial leasing and sales broker. Previously, Mr. Heller served as a senior account executive with Konica Minolta Business Solutions in Arlington and digital sales manager for Commonwealth Digital Office Solutions in Sterling, Va.
