The Queen will travels to the District to don another crown.

Heidi’s ‘heavy’ burden

German-born supermodel Heidi Klum appears naked on the cover of this month’s GQ magazine, but fashion designer Wolfgang Joop says she’s too heavy to be a supermodel.

“Heidi Klum is no runway model. She is simply too heavy and has too big a bust,” Mr. Joop was quoted as saying on thesun.co.uk. “And she always grins so stupidly. That is not avant-garde - that is commercial!”

There are others who think that way, Denverpost.com reports. Louisa von Minckwitz, a German model agency owner, thinks Miss Klum is too curvy and short. Designer Karl Lagerfeld says: “I don’t know Heidi Klum. She was never known in France. [Supermodel] Claudia Schiffer also doesn’t know who she is.”

Yet even as a 36-year-old mother of three, Miss Klum is still in huge demand as a model. Along with the GQ cover, she continues to strut her stuff as a Victoria’s Secret Angel in the lingerie label’s famous fashion shows and also hosts Bravo’s reality hit “Project Runway.”

“I really don’t think about Mr. Joop or what he said,” the New York Daily News quoted Miss Klum as saying Monday - the day after Mr. Joop’s comments. “What am I supposed to say? It’s his opinion. What do you think?”

Suge’s knuckle sandwich

A beating has left rap producer Marion “Suge” Knight hospitalized in Arizona, Associated Press reports.

Two men were arrested, including a man who said he is the business manager for hip-hop singer Akon, police said. Scottsdale, Ariz., police spokesman Sgt. Mark Clark said officers arrived and saw a man identified as Robert Carnes Jr., 38, of Bethlehem, Pa., twice punch Mr. Knight in the face.

Police booked Mr. Carnes and a man identified as 33-year-old Thomas Leon Anderson Jr. of California on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct.

Aging Amy to bare all

Amy Fisher - also dubbed as the Long Island Lolita for shooting Mary Jo Buttafuoco, the wife of her married lover, in the head in 1992 - plans to tour the country as a high-paid stripper, Denverpost.com reports.

“I love to dance, and I’m an exhibitionist,” Miss Fisher, 34, tells avn.com.

“I am going to take this road until my fans tell me, ‘Dear, please put your clothes back on. You’re too old.’ ”

Aussie rocker jailed

The guitarist from the 1980s Australian rock band Men at Work spent Valentine’s Day in jail after he reportedly threatened someone in a Hollywood home where he used to live, TMZ.com reports.

Ron Strykert, one of the founding members of the Grammy-winning band - whose hits include “Down Under” and “Who Can It Be Now?” - was arrested by Los Angeles police officers just before midnight on Friday on suspicion of making criminal threats. He is still behind bars, TMZ says, and is being held on $50,000 bail.

Fashion tips for Streep

Tim Gunn would like a word with Meryl Streep.

“I am her biggest fan, and I can’t get enough of her,” the “Project Runway” mentoring guru tells E! Online. “But wearing my fashion hat, I want to say to Meryl Streep, ‘You need to accept responsibility for what you are wearing. I don’t know that you do.’ She is so smart, so stunning, and she has a great figure.”

The District native, 55, also says he would love to go shopping with the two-time Oscar winner, who is a nominee this year, to help her make it work.

“Sometimes she gets it right, but more often she doesn’t,” Mr. Gunn says. “The message she’s sending is, I’m too smart for this, and it doesn’t matter to me what I’m wearing. I want to say to her that it should matter to you.”

Mr. Gunn may finally get that chance to chat with Miss Streep on Sunday when he co-hosts ABC’s live pre-Oscar special with “Good Morning America’s” Robin Roberts and Jess Cagle, managing editor of Entertainment Weekly.
