Baldwin reveals past sins

Golden Globe and Emmy winner Alec Baldwin admits he was an alcoholic, Denverpost.com reports.

In an interview on his new book, “Moments of Clarity,” the “30 Rock” actor reveals that he began boozing heavily after his career lifted off in his 20s, the newspaper said.

He also said he would drink and snort cocaine all night and then turn to his other addiction — playing video games. Between film roles, Mr. Baldwin revealed, “I would play video games from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and I would wind down.”

Weeks before his 27th birthday, Mr. Baldwin joined a support group and privately kicked his addictions, he confides in the book, written by Rat Packer Peter Lawford’s son, Christopher Kennedy Lawford.

Miss Winehouse, meanwhile, reportedly has struggled with a drug habit. Last week, the singer, 25, was pictured in British newspapers in the arms of a little-known 21-year-old British actor, Josh Bowman, while on vacation in St. Lucia.
