Women’s fashion retailer Chico’s Retail Services Inc. is celebrating the inauguration with the sale of its limited-edition Hope and Change Necklace. The necklace, available in Washington-area stores and priced at $24, features antique gold and silver charms with the words “Hope” and “Change” inscribed. It’s a fitting way to complete your inaugural ensemble.

Fast fact: Helen Taft’s 1909 white silk chiffon inaugural gown - with floral embroideries in metallic thread and rhinestones and beads - was the first inaugural gown to be donated directly by a first lady to the Smithsonian Institution. It was made by the Frances Smith Co., and its donation in 1912 helped kick-start the collection and was followed by a donation from every first lady since.
