ANALYSIS/OPINION:

ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Listening to President Bush on Thursday night (“Bush asks Americans to judge him on security,” Page 1, Friday) reminds me that, from the moment he stole the election eight years ago, we are but days away from the end of the long nightmare.

I suppose if your principles are having no principles, then it can be said that Mr. Bush stuck to his principles. I now count down the days and the hours until he’s gone. Having said that, it’s clear to me that, from listening to Mr. Bush speak, some part of him knows what a miserable failure he was. However, it’s too bad he isn’t smart enough to really comprehend the damages he has done to the human race as a whole. Even though I am an atheist, I pray that Mr. Bush will not make the human race worse in the remaining few days of his miserable presidency between now and when he’s gone.
