Tiger Woods is trying to rebound from missing the cut at the British Open two weeks ago. Woods’ past five starts at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club have resulted in two wins, two ties for second and a tie for third.

X Games 15

The 15th version of the X Games will be going on all weekend in Los Angeles, with the BMX Freestyle Big Air final and Moto X Best Trick final Friday night at Staples Center.

1. Albert Pujols — The St. Louis slugger has hit more than 30 home runs each of his first nine years in the big leagues.

2. Derek Jeter — The Yankees shortstop, who has never hit more than 24 home runs in a season, made his bones by doing the little things right.

3. Pedro Martinez — The recently signed Phillies pitcher went 23-4 in his 1999 Cy Young Award season and was remarkably consistent, leading the AL in ERA four times from 1999 to 2003.

4. Ken Griffey Jr. — Perhaps the last true slugger from the Steroid Era, Griffey has jacked 621 home runs in 21 seasons.

5. Greg Maddux — The right-hander won four consecutive NL Cy Young Awards from 1992 to 1995, racking up a 19-2 record and 1.63 ERA for the World Series champion Braves in 1995.
