How did you get started in real estate? My husband and I had recently sold a home, and we had a less-than-pleasant experience with our agent. After the closing, I said to my husband, “I bet I could do a better job.”

How long have you been with the current company? 1 year

Licenses: Licensed in Virginia

Associations: Dulles Area Association of Realtors

Greatest accomplishment in the past 12 months: To have survived the worst downturn in real estate history.

Area of specialty: Introducing Fairfax County residents to the beauty of Loudoun County

Highest-priced home sold: $1,000,000

Most memorable house: I sold a Craftsman-style home in Falls Church that needed staging. It took the owner, stager and me three weeks to prepare the home, but it sold only hours after it was listed for full price.

Worst experience buying or selling a house: I listed a home for a couple in the midst of a separation. The husband began dating an agent from a competing firm, and he kept trying to sabotage all deals so his “girlfriend” would get the listing.

Age: 47

Family: Husband, Scott; daughter, Rachelle

Pets: German Shepherd, Chiefa

Community service/outside interests: Speak Spanish fluently; volunteer with Brownies, Birthright and Mountain View Elementary School in Purcellville

Last movie seen: “Hannah Montana: The Movie”

What kind of car do you drive? Porsche Cayenne

Describe your personal dream house: I’m living in it - a brick Colonial on 4 acres with a pond, pool and mountain views!
