WOODBRIDGE, Viriginia (AP) — Police in northern Virginia were searching for a man suspected of shooting and killing two men Monday at a commuter bus terminal.

Prince William County police said the shootings occurred shortly before 11 a.m. (1500 GMT).

Both victims were adult men, police spokeswoman Kim Chinn said. She said it appears the suspect and victims knew each other, but did not elaborate.

Christine Rodrigo, a spokeswoman for the Potomac and Rappahannock Transportation Commission, said the shooting occurred in an employee parking lot on the opposite side of the terminal from where passengers board buses.

Many of the riders are workers who commute to Washington, D.C
