CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures rose midday Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery gained 7.25 cents to $5.155 a bushel; May corn rose 8.5 cents to $3.73 a bushel; May oats advanced 3 cents to $1.8475 a bushel; and May soybeans jumped 7 cents to $8.69 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.12 cent to 82.67 cents a pound; April feeder cattle inched up 0.05 cent to 90.3 cents a pound; April lean hogs gained 1.23 cents to 61.55 cents a pound; and May pork bellies rose 0.8 cent to 83.3 cents a pound.
