CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures mostly dropped in midday trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery lost 1.5 cents to $5.235 a bushel, while May corn slipped 0.25 cent to $3.85 a bushel and May soybeans slid 2.5 cents to $8.795 a bushel. May oats were flat at $1.87.

Beef and pork futures were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.60 cent to 84.50 cents a pound; May feeder cattle gained 0.85 cent to 94.05 cents a pound; April lean hogs added 1.18 cents to 63.40 cents a pound; and May pork bellies traded up 0.45 cent to 84.50 cents a pound.
