RAYTOWN, MO. (AP) - Police say the bodies of four people have been found in an apartment near Kansas City, Mo., and that they suspect foul play.

Raytown police Capt. Ted Bowman says a relative of the four discovered their bodies Monday afternoon when checking in after not hearing from them. A baby boy also was found in the apartment but was unharmed.

Police are trying to confirm the identities of the dead and haven’t said how they died.

Bowman says the victims were a man, a woman and two preteen boys. He says the victims were related but he doesn’t know how, and that the boys were not the children of the adult victims or the brothers of the baby.

Raytown is 10 miles southeast of Kansas City.
