TUCSON, ARIZ. (AP) - Jhoulys Chacin isn’t quite perfect, just very good.

The 21-year-old Venezuelan had not allowed a run, and only one hit, through 7 1-3 innings this spring until Arizona managed three runs off him in the third inning of the Colorado Rockies’ 8-3 victory over the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Todd Helton and Carlos Gonzalez each hit two-run homers for Colorado. Christian Colonel added a three-run shot.

Evan Frey tripled in two runs for Arizona.

Helton, who missed the last half of last season with a back injury, hit his second home run of the spring _ in his 10th at-bat _ on a 3-1 pitch from Cesar Valdez in the first. Gonzalez’s first spring homer came on a 1-1 pitch from Travis Blackley in the fourth.
