NEW ORLEANS (AP) - The New Orleans Saints have re-signed kick returner Courtney Roby, who averaged nearly 25 yards per return last season.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The Saints signed Roby during last season after he was released by the Indianapolis Colts.

Roby played five weeks for the Saints, exhibiting his explosive speed on several returns, the longest going 62 yards.

He missed the last two games of last season with an ankle injury.

The 26-year-old Roby was a former Tennessee Titans draft choice and also has played for Cincinnati.
