FORT MYERS, FLA. (AP) - Joe Crede finally got into the swing of things with the Minnesota Twins.

Stuck in a slump since he signed with the Twins last month, Crede went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs in Minnesota’s 5-3 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Monday.

Crede hit a two-run homer off Mark Hendrickson in the third inning and raised his spring batting average to .185.

Hendrickson, battling for one of three open spots in Baltimore’s rotation, gave up two runs and five hits in three innings.
