DENVER (AP) - The chairman of the U.S. Olympic Committee vows to conduct a full national search to replace CEO Jim Scherr, though the timing of the search remains undetermined.

Larry Probst made the promise Monday during a meeting with leaders of America’s Olympic sports, who wanted clarification on Scherr’s sudden resignation and replacement by Stephanie Streeter earlier this month.

Probst says the USOC ethics committee will resolve any potential conflicts of interest stemming from Streeter’s position on the board while she also serves as acting CEO.
