CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures mostly gained in midday trading Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery jumped 13.25 cents to $5.315 a bushel, while May corn added 1.5 cents to $3.90 a bushel and May soybeans leaped 12 cents to $8.885 a bushel. May oats were flat at $1.86.

Beef and pork futures were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle rose 0.15 cent to 84.80 cents a pound; May feeder cattle gained 0.38 cent to 94.40 cents a pound; April lean hogs edged up 0.20 cent to 63.40 cents a pound; and May pork bellies added 1.8 cents to 87.30 cents a pound.
