CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures gained in midday trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery jumped 2.75 cents to $5.47 a bushel, while May corn added 0.75 cent to $3.9225 a bushel and May soybeans edged up 1.5 cents to $9.125 a bushel. May oats gained 2.25 cents to $1.9075.

Beef and pork futures mostly fell on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle dipped 0.45 cent to 84 cents a pound, while May feeder cattle lost 0.20 cent to 93.50 cents a pound and April lean hogs dropped 0.80 cent to 61.95 cents a pound. May pork bellies added 1.4 cents to 89.90 cents a pound.
