CHICAGO (AP) - Agriculture futures mostly gained in midday trading Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for May delivery added 2.5 cents to $5.55 a bushel, but May corn slipped 1 cent to $3.895 a bushel. May soybeans rose 3 cents to $9.16 a bushel, and May oats edged up 0.5 cent to $1.935.

Beef futures fell, while pork prices rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

April live cattle dipped 0.55 cent to 83.75 cents a pound, while May feeder cattle lost 0.52 cent to 93.80 cents a pound. April lean hogs gained 0.40 cent to 62.55 cents a pound, and May pork bellies added 0.50 cent to 90 cents a pound.
