LARGO, Md. (AP) — Prince George’s County police have identified the mother and daughter found dead in a burning car and say investigators are looking for links to another double homicide two months ago.

The victims found Monday in Largo were identified as 42-year-old Delores Renee Dewitt and her 19-year-old daughter Ebony.

Police say they don’t have physical evidence linking the Dewitts’ killings to the deaths of 45-year-old Karen and 16-year-old Karissa Lofton, who were fatally shot in their home in January.

But they say the bodies were found within a half-mile of each another and each has a possible link to a burglary.

The department has formed a task force and detectives are chasing leads around-the-clock. A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to arrests in each case.
