Agriculture futures rose Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery jumped 25.25 cents to $5.5525 a bushelMay corn gained 8.25 cents to $3.965 a bushelMay oats rose 7.75 cents to $2.01 a busheland May soybeans surged 25.5 cents to $9.405 a bushel.
Beef futures advanced and pork futures traded mixed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle advanced 1.2 cents to 84.75 cents a poundMay feeder cattle rose 1.67 cents to 95.72 cents a poundApril lean hogs lost 0.2 cent to 62.05 cents a poundand May pork bellies gained 1.53 cents to 91.75 cents a pound.
