CINCINNATI (AP) - Business services company Cintas Corp. said Thursday it bought Aktenmuehle GmbH, one of the largest independent document destruction businesses in Europe.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Cintas supplies uniforms, restroom supplies and promotional products to businesses. It also provides fire protection and document management services.

Cintas said the acquisition doubles its document management business in Europe.

Shares of Cintas rose $1.28, or 5.9 percent, to $23.22 in afternoon trading. The stock has traded in a 52-week range of $18.09 to $33.73.
