NEW YORK (AP) - Natuzzi Group said Thursday that Chief Executive Aldo Uva has stepped down for personal reasons, and named Chairman and founder Pasquale Natuzzi as his replacement.

The Italian furniture maker said Uva’s resignation would be approved by the board on Monday, at which point Natuzzi was likely to be approved for the position.

Natuzzi, a majority shareholder, is also the company’s president and chief sales officer, according to Capital IQ.
