WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is continuing his full-court press against the nation’s economic problems as he pushes his $3.6 trillion federal budget proposal.

Obama and Vice President Joseph Biden will be briefed Monday at the White House by Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke and Sheila Bair, chairwoman of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation.

Then, the president will deliver remarks about investments in clean energy and new technology included in his budget proposal.
