ANALYSIS/OPINION:

I normally would not be all that concerned about House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s problem with the truth. After all, she has had only four or five chances to remember what she knew and when she knew it. I mean, give the lady a break! In addition, it is not a rare occurrence for a member of Congress to have a problem with various inconvenient truths. Mrs. Pelosi’s inability to tell the truth rises to the level of a potential national shame. She is third in line for the presidency and, if the unthinkable were to happen, we would have a president who would rival President Nixon in dishonesty.

President Obama and Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., please take care of yourselves. Eat right, get plenty of sleep and exercise, get regular checkups, avoid stress and stay away from potentially dangerous places. At all costs, America must stay two heartbeats away from a President Pelosi.
