— SEEN AND HEARD AT DODGER STADIUM

The Nationals have gone Hollywood — and not just in the physical sense. Before Wednesday night’s game here, a film crew was on hand to observe batting practice and take notes on the visiting team in preparation for a movie that will feature the District’s hometown nine.

“How Do You Know?” is the working title of a James L. Brooks romantic comedy in which Owen Wilson and Paul Rudd will be vying for Reese Witherspoon’s attention. Wilson will be playing a Nationals relief pitcher, so the crew wanted to get a sense what players go through on a typical game day. Shooting is scheduled to begin this summer.
