Drees Homes Co. is building 158 single-family homes at Glenkirk Estates in Gainesville, a planned community with a club, tot lots, walking trails and a swimming pool. Several parks and shopping centers are nearby.

Each home in this Prince William County community will include a brick or stone front, 6 1/2-inch beaded vinyl siding, professional landscaping and a two-car side-entry garage.

Inside, all eight models feature four bedrooms; 2 1/2 or 3 1/2 baths; 9-foot ceilings on the main level; 42-inch oak paneled cabinets in the center-island kitchen; a luxury master bath with a soaking tub and separate shower; a high-tech wiring system; a rough-in for a lower-level bath; and dual-zone heating and air conditioning.

The homes have about 1,880 to 3,300 finished square feet, with base prices from $349,900 to $465,900. Homeowner association fees are $240 per quarter.

The Manchester II model, with 2,580 to 2,612 square feet, is priced from $382,900 to $409,900. This home features a foyer with columns and an entrance to the living room or optional study. The living room opens into the dining room, which is adjacent to a central staircase.

At the back of the home are a two-story family room and an open breakfast room and center-island kitchen. Nearby are a laundry room and a half bath.

Upstairs, the master suite has a walk-in closet and a luxury bath. Three more bedrooms, a second full bath and a loft or computer nook complete this level.

Alternate second-floor plans include an upper-level laundry room and a three-bedroom layout with a connecting bath for the secondary bedrooms.
