ANALYSIS/OPINION:

President Obama may have learned a lesson from the controversy involving Harvard University professor Henry Louis Gates and Sgt. James Crowley, but evidently he didn’t. Once again, the president is bowing down to political correctness.

After the shooting at Fort Hood, Mr. Obama declared that we must not jump to conclusions because we do not have all the facts. Mr. Obama did not show such caution after the Crowley incident. At that time, the president said we did not have all the facts but also that the Cambridge police had “acted stupidly.”

Apparently, for Mr. Obama, caution is dispensable when inconvenient.
