THE WASHINGTON TIMES

In case you didn’t tune into The Washington Times’ nationally syndicated radio show “America’s Morning News” - heard in Washington on WTNT-AM 570 and coast-to-coast via the Talk Radio Network - here’s what a few of Thursday’s guests told co-hosts Melanie Morgan and John McCaslin:

- Rep. Paul D. Ryan of Wisconsin, ranking Republican member of the House Budget Committee: Mr. Ryan said it’s not out of the question that some of the Pentagon’s top generals and other high-level military officers could resign or take early retirement if President Obama does not deliver additional troops to Afghanistan.

- Peter Ferrara, director of budget policy at the Institute for Policy Innovation and general counsel of the American Civil Rights Union: Mr. Ferrara said extended talks with Iran will only give the “axis of evil” more time to develop nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them.

- Lori Roman, founder of RegularFolksUnited.com: Ms. Roman pointed out that President Obama’s “safe schools czar,” Kevin Jennings, wrote the foreword to a book called “Queering Elementary Education.”
