ANALYSIS/OPINION:

Qods shock troops are in Venezuela, virtually in our back yard? (“Iran boosts Qods shock troops in Venezuela,” Page 1, Wednesday) What’s next, someone threatening to bomb New York or Los Angeles if we don’t accede to demands?

President Obama is like an ostrich with its head buried in the sand - and this is severely compromising our national security. Our enemies are becoming bolder every day, our military is being reined in and emasculated, accommodation and political correctness are running amok, our allies are being deserted, and we are cozying up to dictators, despots, religious fanatics and other assorted zealots around the world. All of this has made us much weaker and far more vulnerable than we were before Mr. Obama became president.

Mr. Obama doesn’t recognize the severity of the situation with which we are faced both at home and abroad, doesn’t understand how his strategies and actions exacerbate our predicament and doesn’t have the spine to make the necessary changes.

This administration’s willful blindness and utter incompetence could well be catastrophic - and bloody.
