READING, Pa. | Washington Nationals prospect Stephen Strasburg will have to wait a day for his next professional start.

Monday night’s Double-A game between Strasburg’s Harrisburg Senators and host Reading Phillies was rained out and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Tuesday. Strasburg, the No. 1 overall pick in last year’s amateur draft, will pitch the first game.

The promising right-hander is 2-0 with a 0.73 ERA this season. The San Diego State product has struck out 17 and walked three in 12 1-3 innings.

The Nationals are paying close attention to Strasburg’s workload, limiting him to five innings or 85 pitches, whichever comes first.
