ANNAPOLIS (AP) — Annapolis police say a woman has been charged with stabbing another woman to death. It’s the first homicide of the year in Maryland’s capital.

Police say 38-year-old Raedean Lee was found inside her Annapolis home and taken into custody without incident.

She is charged with first- and second-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of 32-year-old Kim Davis on Friday afternoon.

Ms. Davis was found suffering from stab wounds on Pleasant Street and died at a hospital.

Police say the attack was not random.
